How an Inside Out Umbrella Actually Works

Rather than a single canopy, our inside out, or inverted, umbrellas use a clever double-layer canopy built specifically so it closes with the wet side tucked safely inside rather than dripping all over you, your bag, or the car seat. Each one is windproof with a black shaft and fibreglass frame, made from durable polyester pongee fabric, and uses an easy opening system that's genuinely simple to get the hang of, even if the design looks unfamiliar at first glance.

Genuinely Practical, Not Just a Novelty

The clever bit isn't just how it closes either. The design allows the umbrella to stand completely on its own without any support once closed, so you can pop it down by a doormat or in the car without it toppling over, and it comes with a special C-shaped hands free grip, ideal for carrying bags, keys, or a coffee at the same time.
